The Turkey Trot STL 5K course in Arnold is flat, fast, and scenic. Participants should keep their eyes open for turkeys and other wildlife. The course is certified for distance accuracy by USA Track & Field (MO15025LJ). The 1/2 Mile Youth Race course (not shown) is a flat out-and-back course along the last 1/4 mile of the 5K course. Wheelchair racers would be better served at TTSTL St. Charles, which has a wheelchair-friendly course and a wheelchair race division. Children in courteously-driven strollers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
Race results are available here. Plaques are awarded to the top 3 overall male and female 5K finishers and the top 3 men and women in the following 5K age groups: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29,..., 65-69, and 70 & Over. Award winners who do not stay for the awards ceremony can pick up their plaques at Fleet Feet South County beginning December 1st.
The Arnold Food Pantry provides emergency and temporary assistance to individuals and families seeking help with food, household necessities, and personal items. It is the largest non-denominational food distribution center in the St. Louis area that has no government affiliation and receives no government funding.
