Turkey Trot STL 5K registrants can choose their commemorative swag from an array of great options! We've got soft cotton knock-around long-sleeve tees, multiple pom beanies designs, and $10 Fleet Feet Sports gift cards. A youth short-sleeve shirt can be added to free Youth Race registrations for $12. Register by 10/31 to be guaranteed your chosen swag. If you don't pick up your packet in-store or at the race, your item(s) will be donated to one of our charity partners.

COURSES

The Turkey Trot STL 5K course in St. Charles is flat, fast, and friendly. Its out-and-back section will allow participants to see and cheer their fellow athletes. The course is certified for distance accuracy by USA Track & Field (MO15025LJ). Wheelchair athletes are welcomed to compete at our St. Charles location. Wheelchairs will begin two minutes before the 5K start. Children in courteously-driven strollers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted on the course.

Results & Awards

Awards are presented to the top 3 overall male and female 5K runners and the top 3 men and women runners in the following 5K age groups: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29,...,65-69, and 70 & Over. Awards will also be presented to the top 3 men and women wheelchair athletes. Awards can be picked up at Fleet Feet St. Charles beginning December 3th.

O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry

The O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry and Thrift Store has offered food and personal care items to low-income families in our community for over 29 years. O.A.S.I.S. serves approximately 500 families each month using an all-volunteer staff. O.A.S.I.S. ensures it's food assistance goes to individuals and families in true need and requires a referral by a qualified organization. During summer months O.A.S.I.S. offers a Children's Summer Food Program supplying additional food to families with school-aged children who miss their free or reduced-price meals at schools. Your donations allow O.A.S.I.S. to offer special programs like the Children's Summer Food program and to continue to support families in need.

EVENT POLICIES

  1. Are face coverings required? Following the CDC guidelines, if you are a fully vaccinated individual you are not required to wear a mask. If you are not fully vaccinated we ask you to wear a mask during pre/post-race and when interacting with staff and volunteers.
  2. Refund Policy - No refunds will be given after November 8, 2021. Processing fees are non-refundable. Entries are not transferable to another event but can be transferred to another participant. Transferring registration is allowed through November 21, 2021.  A $3 processing fee will be applied to all refunds and transfers. 
  3. Can I switch from the virtual event to the physical event? Yes, IF space is available and the cap has not been met. Transfers allowed through Sunday, November 21, 2021.  Please contact turkeytrot@fleetfeetstlouis.com to transfer. A $3 processing fee will be applied to all refunds and transfers. IF the cap is met, transfers will not be allowed.
  4. Can I switch from the physical event to the virtual event? Yes, transfers are allowed through Sunday, November 21, 2021.  Please contact turkeytrot@fleetfeetstlouis.com to transfer. A $3 processing fee will be applied to all refunds and transfers. 
  5. Inclement Weather Policy: The safety of our participants and volunteers is our highest priority. If severe weather is present, we will post an update on the Facebook Page and at the top of this page by 6:00 am the morning of the event at the latest.
  6. Canned Food Drive: Please bring canned food items to place them into one of the Donation Bins at packet pick-up or race morning. View the Charities Page for details about special item requests.
  7. What if I have a positive COVID-19 test or show symptoms of COVID-19? If you have a positive COVID-19 test or are showing symptoms (click here for a full list of symptoms) we ask that you do not attend the event. Participants who fall into this category will be offered the following options; if the request is received before November 8, 2021, the participant can receive a full refund minus the transaction fees, if, after November 8d, 2021, participants with a positive COVID-19 test can receive a 50% refund or participant virtually.  
  8. COVID-19 Status: Our intention is to be able to hold this event in person. We are working on plans to take all necessary precautions to make this a safe event during the COVID-19 situation based on the latest/greatest guidelines as the event approaches. Participant safety is our number one concern, so if it is deemed unsafe to have an in-person event, the race will be switched to an all-virtual event. Should we have to hold the event virtually, we will automatically switch all participants to the virtual event and send details on how to obtain your race swag and submit your virtual times. If you do not want to participate in the virtual event, you can defer your entry to our 2022 event. We will contact all participants in the event that it goes virtual with further instructions.
  9. Swag Policy & Exchange: Exchanging swag will be on a limited basis in 2021. Swag exchange will only be available on race day beginning at 9:00am. There is no exchanging at packet pick-up. If you do not pick up your packet by 8:45am race morning, your item will no longer be guaranteed.
  10. Are dogs allowed at the event or allowed to participate? We love dogs, but dogs are not allowed at this event or allowed to participate in the race.
  11. Strollers are welcome, we just ask that you start towards the back of the field.
  12. Will there be on-course support? Yes, we will have course marshals and traffic control on course. Athletic Trainers will be available at the finish line. 
  13. Will there be on course Aid Stations? No, there will not be on-course aid stations. We highly encourage and recommend participants carry all hydrations and nutritional needs in their running pack or belt.  Bottled water will be provided in the finish area. 
  14. Scooters and bikes (foot-powered and motorized) are not are now allowed in the 5K or Kids Run.
